New Collaborative Community Garden in Olympic Village To Host First Build Day June 14th

Bring a shovel and a friend and head over to the east side of the community centre on Saturday June 14th to help get the new Collaborative Garden at Creekside started.

What has to get done at the Collaborative Community Garden build day?

• there are planters to fill with soil
• veggies, plants and trees to plant
• the will be  the opportunity to learn about collaborative gardening
• refreshments and snacks will be available (my favourite part!)
• and, of course, it will be fun for the whole family!

This garden is a collaboration with the City of Vancouver, the Vancouver Parks Board, the Creekside Community Recreation Centre, City Studio students, and World in a Garden, with plant list and planning support from the Environmental Youth Alliance; and of course local residents and volunteers.
