Temporary Modular Housing in SE False Creek
215 West 1st Avenue Considered for Temporary Modular Housing
The City of Vancouver and the BC Government have proposed a new temporary modular housing building at 215 West 1st Avenue that would house approximately 50 Vancouver residents experiencing homelessness. The site would neighbour the Sole Food’s Olympic Village Farm. Sole Foods is working with the City and BC Housing on potential links between urban farming and the proposed new building.
The building details:
- Three-storey building containing 52 social housing units;
- A Floor Space Ratio of 0.12 (approximately 24,789 sf); and
- A maximum building height of 46.6 ft.

The Ash St and West 6th Ave Temporary Modular Housing building is presently under construction in the parking lot of the Olympic Village Canada Line Station parking lot.
