Women’s Only Bike Ride Starts in the Olympic Village Saturday
The Vancouver Velo Vixens are hosting a ride tomorrow, June 13th, and they are starting here in Southeast False Creek. They will meet at the big birds in the Village Square and head out from there. There will be stops at MacLean Park, Grandview Park, and they will wrap it up at the new bike shop, Sidesaddle, for their launch party.
Who can ride (from the Facebook event page):
A ladies-only ride, including people who identify as women (both trans and cis) and gender queer-identified (non-binary individuals who identify with women’s community) dress up in your prettiest dress and join us as we cruise along adding style to Vancouver’s streets. Bring along some light snacks and tea/alcoholic drinks for a picnic at the end! **SORRY, NO BOYS ALLOWED!**
