Take a Winter Solstice Lantern Workshop At Creekside Community Centre
This will be the first in a series of posts, or at least two posts, about the Winter Solstice Lantern Festival. We have enjoyed this event for years, but have never had a lantern. This year get ready early and head over to the Creekside Community Recreation Centre and take one of their winter solstice lantern workshops. Drop in and make a simple lantern to carry in the procession that leaves @ 6:00pm. Lantern can be made in as short as 30 minutes.

The Winter Solstice Lantern Procession is taking place this December 21st from 6:00pm until 11:00pm and starts in Leg In Boot Square in False Creek South. Check back soon for all the details. For the time being go register for a workshop.
