Mamas, Munchkins and Mutts at the Bone and Bowl
Mamas, Munchkins and Mutts is a workshop for kids, parents and dog owners about how to interact with dogs with a focus on fear prevention and keeping your kids safe around our canine neighbours.
The workshop will cover how to:
- understand the importance of kids approaching dogs correctly and safely. Friendly dogs aren’t always safe.
- on-leash vs. off-leash behaviour in dogs
- talk to your kids about approaching dogs
- understand a dog’s body language ~ what kids and parents need to look for
Mamas, Munchkins and Mutts will be led by certified professional dog trainer Georgina Bradley. She has over 20 years experience as a professional animal health technician.
Georgina is a professional member of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) and the CAPPDT (Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers) and gives back to her field by teaching the next generation of professional dog trainers with DogStars Professional Trainers Workshops.
