Sports Day in Canada is:
“… a national celebration of sport, from grassroots to high-performance levels, in communities across Canada. It’s an opportunity for all Canadians to celebrate the power of sport to build community, fortify our national spirit and facilitate healthy, active living.” From their website.
On Sports Day you will be able visit the gym at the community centre to try out Badminton (at 1pm) Volleyball (at 2pm), Basketball (at 3pm), or Indoor Soccer (at 4pm). There is also an opportunity to try dragonboating with free trial sessions at 1, 2 and 3pm. It is recommended that you register in advance for the dragonboating by visiting the Creekside Community Centre website.
