Creekside Community Center Outdoor Summer Events

The Creekside Community Centre has organized a series of awesome summer events in the Plaza on the west side of the community center and right beside Tap and Barrel.

Thursday nights will see bands and dancing and a movie night on August 22nd. Wednesday evenings feature summers sports on the plaza. I ran by this last night and it looked like great fun. There were hockey nets up, small tennis nets, and even table tennis.

Pet and Dog Expo in Southeast False Creek

And this Saturday (July 13th) is the Creekside Pet and Dog Expo in partnership with The Bone and Bowl. This event will feature pet first aid, holistic pet care, and do some pet crafts. You can also learn more about pet photography and pet etiquette lessons. Lastly there will be a pet talent show. It is sure to be super cute.
