Celts On The Creek: A Free CelticFest Vancouver Kick-Off Celebration

CelticFest Vancouver 2014 kicks off in Southeast False Creek on Saturday March 8th with Celts on the Creek in the Olympic Village, a free celebration music, food, face painting and more.

Celts on the Creek Schedule:

12:00 pm (noon) | Pastiche | Traditional folk songs from France & Quebec along with great original tunes

1:15 pm | Crikey Mor | Foot-stomping Irish traditional music

2:30 pm | Willy Blizzard | Original acoustic folk/roots with stunning vocal harmonies

3:45 pm | The Irish Wakers | Celebrating the songs & dance of Ireland, with nods to the Maritimes and seafarers everywhere

Also keepan eye out for The Green Man, an 8 foot tall gentle and mystical storyteller.
